AlzPrograms wurde am 27.01.2013 gegründet. Der Begriff 'Alz' stammt vom ersten Charakter, der für ein Spiel entworfen wurde. Edith Alz ist die Hauptfigur in 'Tante Edith und das verschollene Diadem'. Dieses Point-and-Click Adventure sollte das erste Spiel sein, welches von AlzPrograms veröffentlicht würde. Aufgrund einiger Komplikationen wurde die Entwicklung dieses Spiels vorerst eingestellt. Es wird aber in jedem Fall zu einer Weiterentwicklung kommen. Edith Alz hat eine Zwillingsschwester namens Udith. Auch sie wird im geplanten Game eine Rolle spielen.
