TET: Torchlight Enhanced Textures v0.9.5 addon

Description:

This mod (TET: Torchlight Enhanced Textures) is the beginning in an amazing TOTAL retex of Torchlight.

ALL textures (yes all) will be retextured shortly. You can clearly see by comparison that these textures add lots of depth and 3D perspective. Each and every texture was tweaked by hand using everything from Fractal Methods to no less than 5 filters/FX. The color has been enriched and the
lighting has been tweaked so the textures no longer look like cardboard. In many cases I cut out portions of old texture, and replaced with more real looking textures from other sources/media.
I appreciate the style of the original textures, and I enjoy the fact that they are "hand painted",
I kept the style and filesize of the originals, and simply gave each texture a more 3D appearance and
depth with rich color in a manner that makes them look "not so flat" now.

Requirements:

Brain, and basic knowledge of mouse/keyboard
And a copy of Torchlight

Install:

Listen CLOSELY so you don't get (!), red triangles, missing textures, or lose your wallet.
1.) UNZIP (the file, NOT your pants!)
2.) Put the folders in this Data folder into YOUR Application Data\runic games\torchlight\mods folder!!
3.) Play Torchlight and witness textures as they should've been.

Un-Install:

I still maintain, you'd uninstall your sac before you uninstall this mod. However, should you choose to change texture with one from another mod or the original, simply locate the texture in your folder, and overwrite mine with the one of the same name from another mod. Simple, but foolhearty.

Incompatibility:

NONE - yes this mod is compatible with ALL other mods.
unless there are other texture mods out there that (attempt to) make texture alterations to things OTHER THAN weapons/armors

Bugs/Issues:

NONE~
A Feral Ghoul reported TET did not work for him. It was later discovered that it was due simply to the fact he'd eaten half of his keyboard.

By all means if you would like to use any of the assets in TET, simply contact me to tell me your intention, and make sure to make mention the author (myself) of said asset somewhere in the "Credits" section of your mod.

However if you'd like to modify/adjust/tweak TET to your own liking to keep on your own computer (unreleased), you needn't inform me of such things (as long as its not distributed.) Happy modding!

• "Alpha" channel issues resolved. A new method of "Alpha blurring" applied to previous level decals that had Alpha Channel issues. (Each version of TET gets better..)

• I'd like people to take a look at the Town, Mine, Cave, Temple, and Lava and see if there are any spots that should be replaced with photo-realistic parts. The parts I'm talking abut would be Wood, Glass, and Metal pieces. If any piece of wood,glass,or metal is "blending" in with the wall/floor, let me know and I'll cut out the piece and replace with NEW photo-realistic part. (i.e. The apples and cherries I put in town)
