Necore Tower attempts to modernize the original ARPG / RPG concepts while staying as true as possible to the originals. Necore Tower is a top-down, story driven, Dark Fantasy, action role playing game. It is designed to bring you into the world of Necore before the release of the first full title "Necore: The Thunder King", which takes the elements of Necore Tower and greatly extends upon them.

History

Necore Tower started as a university major project, in an attempt to create a vessel for a story I started writing in 2017 and to also be adequate for my final university project. The original Necore Tower was more or less an alpha, designed and developed in a total of six months (two trimesters for the final project which is normally meant to be a team project.) At the end of the project, I started to think of projects I could work on, but I couldn't get over Necore Tower feeling incomplete, so I went back to the drawing board for it and decided to rebuild it from the ground up. This time using better techniques and integrating some powerful third-party tools along side my own tools, to help improve the original design. Thus, Necore Tower - Redux Edition was born.
