GOOD NEWS! Using an app called WinMerge (which allows me to compare folders) I believe I have isolated the crash to desktop to some actor file modifications I made. I should be able to release a stable v0.89 soon.
So I did some testing and I believe v0.84 of Black Bag to be stable (or, at the very least, free from the crash to desktop bug that I haven't been able to debug yet).
I think I may have isolated the crash-inducing bug in Black Bag. I'll keep testing to be sure, but if it turns out to be so, then that means progress will resume.
In the meantime, I really need to figure out what the last stable version of the mod was, so that you know.
Black Bag v0.88 has been released. [UPDATE: Unfortunately, v0.88 is unstable. It introduced a bug that is causing some of the Korean missions to crash to desktop and the loggme.log file isn't recording what the problem is.]
Black Bag v0.87 has been released.
Black Bag v0.84 has been uploaded!
Black Bag v0.83 has been uploaded and will be released any minute now. It adds a stable version of the Beretta M12-S2 SD, the VSS Vintorez, the AS Val, the AKS-74U SD, and the Knight's Armament Co. SR-25 (which would eventually evolve into the M110).
Unfortunately, we have just about hit the hard limit on unique sound file entries, which means I will only be able to add weapons that can share existing sound files or that do not require volume tweaking.
Black Bag v0.82 has been released. It fixes a crash caused by the Galil ARM in 7.62mm, alters some bullet impact sound effects, and adds the Beretta M12-S2 in a sound suppressed version firing subsonic 9mm.
Uploading v0.79 now. This may be the most recent version for some time, as life is presenting challenges that may require my full attention for a while. ANYONE is allowed to fix, improve or expand upon Black Bag so long as they change the name of the mod, including in the ReadMe and the ModContents files.
Black Bag v0.77 releases in a few minutes.
