Narrative-driven first-person shooter. Today we are showing one of the first builds of the level design for our game. Our level design is mainly big rooms and corridors connecting them.
The first room will be where the player will spawn and pick up a radio where a member of the facility explains him what happened and walks him through the facility. Here he will also pick up the facility experimental gun which has several firing mods.
There are 4 big rooms where each one will have one mini-boss and common enemies serving as guards. Those rooms for now are empty but we will populate them with assets so there is cover and the space isn´t so open.
Then we have smaller rooms which will be electric rooms where the player has to reset the power while enemies push his position to try to stop him.
The corridors have many shapes and forms where some enemies will roam and where the player can find hidden collectibles.
The last image is the size of the vertical slice we are developing for our 3D project.
