Hi here =)
I hope I'm not too late.
I'm very interested in the question: in which program did you create/edit maps from this set (OBSOLETE - Revamp Map Pack v1.1)?
No program was used I edited the lua files.
Hello,
Have you got a guide on how you managed to change the faction colours for Supreme Commander 2?
As I am looking to use the same colours that Commander Coleman uses for his units on the 2nd UEF mission.
Or if I can commission you for the job.
See what I mean?
OverRated is not one for answering messages.
Be prepared for a rather long wait (or no answers).
I guess OverRated is over rated when it comes to replying to people with legitimate requests and questions.
A simple "Yes, I'll look into that." would satisfy most people waiting for a reply.
OverRated needs to show that he does pay attention to those who comment on his page.
A little common courtesy.
this isn't my page this is a page on a site that I never use.
IndieDB and ModDB are connected to each other.
Or is your setup different?
Because I can see when you were "Last Online" for this.
1st off you don't get notification for profile posts mate, 2nd what do you even want?
I think you mean "I" as in "I don't get profile notifications", which I completely understand with the ModDB setup.
This is a perfect example of why you should check your profile page once a week or a month, depending on your current free time. That way you have a proper timeline of communication and can give appropriate answers for any questions or comments people may have posted.
Though you don't necessarily go on your profile page, your profile does show to everyone that visits your page when you were "Last Online".
So of course many users (myself included) tend to get irked when a particular user is online but does not spend any time to answer comments that have been sitting for months unanswered on the user's profile page.
My comments (mainly created out of annoyance) were designed to get your attention to look at your page and start answering people's comments (like what you did with "Guest Jan 16 2020").
Since you have broken your vow of silence, now you will hopefully try to answer everyone's comments or at least acknowledge the people who have wished you a "Happy New Year".
And as for the "what do you even want?" question, I guess it can be simply done by answering my first comment I had posted on your page:

Hello, I would like you to review WOLF RPG Editor English 2.24Z:
Moddb.com
This is the last version to be done by me, for I have retired from the translation work.
I would like to hear your criticism and honest opinion.
That should be all really.
I hope you have a nice day.
Just out of my own curiosity why does OverRated have to reply to begin with? Shouldn't that be a choice and not something to get out pitch forks and torches for?
Usually when a person makes a request or asks a question pertaining to another's work, should not that other reply?
If a person says "Hey, I like your project!", then there is probably no need for a reply.
But if a person says "I encountered a problem while running your mod, how do you fix this?", then should not the creator (as well as others) try to reply and help the person in question?
This is not a witch hunt, it is merely a matter of common courtesy.
It is a mutual stance for the community to answer questions (if they can) of anyone who posted a question on their page as well as on others synonymous to their work.
It is better for questions to be answered (whether slow or prompt) then to have their question left hanging until the person decides that "that's that" and leaves.
Now, even though it is late, have I not answered your questions?
Take care and God Bless.
Honestly I feel it can put a lot of stress on some, its nice to receive a reply but I feel in this day and age that can be something that is lucky due to different work styles and people, I asked all the way back then if I could use some of the models and got no reply, sad about it but not angry.
Never mind apparently I got a reply a few months later just got no notification of it, but was notified by email when you replied to me xD
