Is installing not custom firmware not against the terms of use for the PSP?

I succeeded... it's not that hard. I did it to a SLIM battery while watching a tut for a FAT battery, just took some common sense. ;)

Then get one! :D Just make sure it's a 1000 or 2000... pick up an extra battery to, you'll need pandora... make sure you get a big enough memory stick and a USB cable to connect the PSP to your computer... make sure you can cut open a battery to... most of all make sure you have common sense, that's important. :)

Really worth it now? That's seriously what you need unless someone you know has a pandora battery. :/

Depends on the motherboard, the firmware makes no difference, I can't tell you what motherboard you have though. :/

If you took it apart, everytime you put the battery in your PSP it should automatically turn on but not load a menu.

It won't take up memory, it's a battery. :/ The custom firmware you install will be inside the flash which you don't need to worry about.

I did it myself, I pulled a pin right out of the battery and it's pandora FOREVER, it still works though.

All you really need to do is take a battery apart, search for a youtube video on what pin to pull off the board then pull it off, there's your pandora battery.

Depending on your firmware there is a homebrew loader right now using an exploit in a Patapon 2 demo from the PSN that you could use to load this when it comes out.
