Post news Report RSS Your opinion is required Part 2 : Subelements

This time it's about possible combinations between the elements.

Posted by on

Thanks for the feedback on the last news, I decided to stick with the 3rd chart. This could change in future - let's see how it will work out and effect the game play. Next would be subtypes, with a chart below. So far I came up with those. Note that there can be more than one result of an elemental mix, depending on the dominant element. I wasn't able to figure out all possible combinations so I'm open to suggestions and ideas.

I appreciate any feedback, thanks!

give it a sec and you understand what it is.

The black arrows represent relations(stronger/weaker).
Red lines combine 2 related elements into a subelement. Yellow lines combine 2 unrelated elements into a subelement.

Earth should overcome fire too.
Fire + Air shouldn't make ash Oo something more like gas.

dunno just sayin..

Lightning + Fire are almost same elements in my opinion (both energy) so it should form something powerfull :D

for the sake of balance I'll keep the relations like this for the start (like I said, gotta still do some testing).
Yea I agree, I was thinking the air speeds up the burning process which results into ash, but gas could be nice as well. Could work together with a possible poison side effect.

For a sec I thought about naming Fire+Lightning = imb4, so I get what you mean :D they both seem very offensive

Thanks for your contribution!

Lightning + Earth = Glass :D or magma something like that.
Fire + Water = steam

Just ideas to point direction

I think you missed the "Steam" element on the chart^^
Magma would be possible, at first I wanted Fire and earth have 3 different combinations: F+E = Lava, F²+E = Magma, F+E²= Metal but the I decided that would be overkill^^
