XY Cannon is an abstract shooter in which you control two cannons at once. It is a tribute to Jeff Minter's Laserzone, and features psychedelic animated backgrounds and over the top explosions. It is now available on Google Play and the Ouya store.
XY Cannon originates from a Ludum Dare 26 entry called Axis Invaders that took a little over 2 hours to develop. Because people liked that game, I decided to do a total remake, which I've been working on in my spare time for almost 2 months. I released an alpha version a month earlier, but there's been a lot of changes in the 1.0 version, like multiple animated backgrounds, more music, more enemy types, better procedural shaders for the bosses, etc.
