Post news Report RSS Winter break update

This winter break did wonders to this mod that's for sure. Here is a small update to everything that I have been working on since the last update.

Okay, first of all, remember the new "work flow" or whatever I called it? Yeah, I threw it all out on the window. I just simply work more effectively if I first complete a single level with visuals and all, then go on to the next because that way I have a better preview of how each level fit into the entire mod.

Second big thing, I have started getting more and more creative. A few months ago the mod was basically a Dark Descent remake but worse in terms of the puzzles and areas. Good news, I started moving away from this and reworked multiple puzzles since and managed to write the guardian into the story as well (which opens up a lot of possibilities for me to be creative) and realised it is a lot of fun to play around with it, so I will dedicate an entire ending to it. Oh, yeah, multiple endings. I didn't promise multiple endings because I can't guarantie that I can finish all of them and that still stands, BUT I think I got to a point where I want to split up two paths to the player, each one with its own "arch enemy" and ending. Also both will open up a different part of the story. At least that is what I envisioned for this mod.

But as I said, nothing is a promise, anything may change at this point but I am going to work hard (most likely harder than ever) for this few days on this mod because after that, it is going to be a tough few months up until around mid-march and I do not know how much will I be able to work on it.

Just a disclaimer, I still don't want to make a demo or beta version for eveyone to be able to play the mod because I'd hate to spoil anything from the story or the gameplay.

I think that's all, stay tuned for more updates in the future, for now this and that badly cropped picture will have to do :D

Hopefully you had a great christmas and I wish you all a happy new year in advance!
