It's been a long week so let's talk about the next things happening with Instincts.

Inventory and Crafting
The inventory system consists of being able to carry any amount of items as long as the weight of all of them does not reach the maximum amount of weight. The crafting window will show items that can be crafted with what currently in the inventory, so it only show what you can craft and not what you can possibly craft. If you hover over an item in the crafting window it will show you what it does need so you will know for later. You will need to craft weapons to fight with, weapons you craft are also ingredients for stronger weapons.
The game plays similar to other survival games, you spawn in the world and go around scavenging and hunting and trying to find other players. At the moment when you sign off from a server your position and inventory is not saved. But this is being worked on along with many other things.
There was basic AI early on but for the last week we have worked on making the AI a bit more difficult and smarter. There are many things wrong with the current AI system and it currently only supports melee class AI, we want it to be able to support AI with ranged and support abilities also.
What we are working on
Next week we will work on a game play video to show off to people. We also want to work on the server side saving of players and then working on the AI. We are still not sure about AI path finding if we should make our own or use a 3rd party AI path finding system.
As for content and making the world a bit more a bit more graphically beautiful, we will be taking our time since nothing is really at a stage where we can say we definitely want this in the final product of our game.
