We are here to let you know that we are still here, and we are still working. We, as a team, have become extremely busy and are working on the game in our free time. However we are going to let you guys in on some ideas we have, and some things we are going to bring to the upcoming release.
A NEW GAME MODE!
When we came up with the idea of "I am Alone" we set out to create an all in one game, to please all zombie lovers. So what better way to create an amazing game than to play other great games. It is no suprise that the "survival" mode is inspired by an amazing indy game "Project Zomboid", if you don't know what that is I highly suggest checking it out. Hoard is loosely based on "Nazi Zombies". And Survival Hoard is a mode of our own imagination, mostly because we couldn't think of a game to play to get ideas. However I was playing on steam, and I currently own "Left 4 Dead 1 and 2" and I love that game. so in one of our meetings I brought up the idea of creating a mode that is inspired by the "Left 4 dead" style game play, and finally doing something that we have wanted to do, incorporate the name Un-zed.
We have been spending a lot of time on developing a script, and the driving system, we now have cars, hopefully in the future we well have it so that the noise of the car will attract zombies, a gas system, and more, also with the car is a helicopter, giving you the ability to go to new heights in the game!
A NEW TYPE OF TESTING!
You guys as pre-Alpha testers, will still get early access to the game, however after all feedback is collected, will will fix the problems we can fix, and then release it to the public, so how this will work is for every release there are two versions, a test version, and a public verson, all testers will get the test version. The reason for this is so we don't leave the public hanging, and can get playable versons out there. This is a very "experimental" way of testing, but we have the up most confidence that it will work.
Again we would like to apologize for the lack of communication, we never wanted to be the kind of developer who left their fans in the dark, and we promise to update you whenever we can!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
