The TechDemo++ was released and met with fairly positive feedback so far. So we're pretty motivated to continue with the game right away!
Today we got together with all team members and discussed the next steps for CrossCode. So here is what we plan to do during the next 3 month:
- Finalize the battle mechanics
- Create a proper level-up system and currency (dropped by enemies)
- NPCs with dialogs as well as new puzzle elements that can be interacted with directly (rather than throwing balls at it)
- Overhaul the beginning of the game to make it feel like a proper Action-RPG (with characters and dialogs)
Over this time, we'll keep you updated with new screenshots, videos and technical posts about the game. So make sure to checkout our blog once in awhile. :D
