Post news RSS Weekend Contest: Name a Character in FK2

Like Frayed Knights? Want to put a little bit of your own personal stamp on the sequel? Now's your chance! We have a short weekend contest going right now to name a character in Frayed Knights 2 - in addition to the sale on the original.

So for the weekend — I’m not giving away a free game this time. INSTEAD – I’m going to give someone here the chance to have a character named after them in Frayed Knights 2. Someone from today’s comments gets to pick a name (including their own) for a character in Frayed Knights 2. It’s my little thank-you to the community. Or, if you prefer, my little way of being a lazy bum and outsourcing design work to the community. Either way. You’ll have a choice of one of several options, including whether they’ll be a friendly or enemy character. You can provide the name (within reasonable limits – in other words, don’t be obnoxious about it).

How?

Simply by contributing to this thread -

In the meantime, the 50% off sale here on Desura continues for a few more days. This weekend would be a great chance to download the game and give it a spin. Inspired by the old turn-based, party-based first-person RPGs of the past, Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon has a style of its own, and offers a deep, rich CRPG experience tailored towards hardcore tastes in spite of not being able to take itself too seriously.

The sequel is currently in development. Taking place shortly after the events of Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon, it takes the same characters through a new adventure that continues the overall campaign arc.
