Hello everyone! In this week's article, we will give you a small video we made to let you hear some of the voices we have now for Somnea. We designed them to cover the wider specter of emotions we can regarding the needs in story telling in games. You can use them to give life to your stories and deepen the feeling you want to create through your level with more than just plateforms and signposts.

We hope you will like it as much as we do and we will be glad to read your feedbacks.

I am thinking you should head more in the sims language style of voices and less of this reversed sounding stuff.. it sounds creepy... which is appropriate for bad guys but its too obviously reversed sounding.. even if its possibly nonsense words originally and then put in reverse the effect itself of a reversed sound is kinda awkward here.. its not terrible and i guess will work out fine but i could see something more like sim'ish working out better,, just my two cents i might be completely off here.. but as a sound designer myself that is my opinion.. the voices themselves are great but the reversed effect is taking away from that

Thank you very much for your feedback and its precision! It's good to have the opinion of an other sound designer and tips on how to improve our voices. We are going to see what we can do to make it sounds better.
