It was summer 2010 when we released our Gothic II modification Elemental War. It was very basic due to the limitations of the RPG engine, but it was really fun to play already then.
Now, more than 8 years later, we have a release date for the standalone version, that profits so much from our experiences collected over the past years and the switch to Unity engine. It hasn't much in common with the mod anymore. We redesgined the gameplay, changed the towers and added a bunch of new features. And of course the graphics are better ;)
The heart of the game is the new Hero Mode, that combines elements from classic tower defense with RPG and even roguelite to generate a new experience for every run.

Release of the Early Access version on Steam and itch.io will be in a month, on October 18th, 2018.
