Three days on Kickstarter news

Hi there,

It's been three full days since we launched Frozen State on Kickstarter, and it's doing quite well. Despite the fact that all gaming websites overrun with the news from E3, Frozen State has managed to get £8298, 13% of our final goal. However, we still struggle with a luck of exposure, to reach our goal on time, we need to get at least £1450 per day. It's a big amount , which can only be achieved with your help. The future of Frozen State is in your hands. If you cannot support the campaign financially, you still contribute significantly by spreading the word. This will help us to brake the wall of silence and bring more people who might like Frozen State.

I also would like to say a few words about the misconception that could rise from watching our video from the working prototype. I know, the video on the kickstarter page looks simple and plane, leaving the bad impression of another shoot 'em up, alien shooter like game. It's only our fault, we should have been prepared better. But I'd like to remind you that we work on the game only in free time.

The video wasn't meant to show the final gameplay or quality. It shows that we have not only artworks, but have been working on the actual game. Unfortunately, the huge part of these are the core game logic and basic mechanics, which can't bee seen in the game, it's just lines of codes.

Running a kickstarter campaign its' exhausting and fascinating at the same time. We got many awesome people who support Frozen State and believe in us. But on the other hand there are many people who think it's a peace of crap. It's hard to withstand the negative and do not take it personal, when you put all your self in the game.

Anyway, criticism is a good thing, you just need to find the way to benefit from it. For example you can look at your game from a different perspective, find bits which you never payed attention to.
