StoryFix Media have announced their interactive fiction game THE PULSE will be available for Android devices on June 25, 2019 through the Google Play store. The immersive sci-fi text adventure features more than 150,000 words and more than 20 ending variations.

Synopsis: On the outskirts of a dark town, a woman awakes in an empty motel. With no memory of who she is or how she got there, she will rely on your judgement and quick-thinking to navigate untold dangers, learn the truth of her identity, and the secrets of a mysterious pulse that seems to be the cause of it all.

Immerse yourself in a gripping, interactive science fiction narrative where your ability to recognize truths and lies, and make morally difficult decisions at a moment's notice will shape the outcome of the story.

The Pulse was designed to reward players for their relationship building as much as their problem solving. As you play, the game tracks the following variables in order to provide a rich and diverse experience for every player:

Health - Don't get hurt too many times or you may not make it to the end.

Trust - Making dangerous, careless, or rash decisions could mean a strike against your trust score.

Timed Responses - Some decisions will need to be made quickly. Failure to respond in time results in a strike against your overall Trust score.

Items - How much you explore is up to you, but you may find objects that will help you on your journey. Some of these objects may become instrumental.

Connectivity - How your relationships develop will have consequences. Truths and lies may reveal themselves differently depending on what kind of relationship you have with characters in the story. Who you trust and what side you end up on is up to you.

StoryFix Media have also been busy running an interactive fiction blog called The Story Fix that covers the IF scene, new games and often features interviews with other developers and writers.
