New models based on concept work in varying levels of doneness. A comparison of modeled buildings.

OH MAN OH MAN. I GOT THE END OF THE WORLD POST. Happy end of the mayan calendar day?Model guy here. With models! Today I have a couple new blocked in models from Todd’s concepts.



I also have a pretty cool comparison of some of the models that I have made over the length of this project so far. Looking at it, you can see the difference in building styles, size, and complexity of some models versus others as they go from a simple block in, to higher poly models for normal map baking to a finishes product. Not that anything I can show you is finished yet. But now that we have that nifty model viewer that Matt cooked up for us to use in the editor, we can actually see what our models will look like in engine. So that’s exciting.
