Welcome to this week's edition of the Civics Expanded+ dev diaries. Today, I'll be talking mainly about the Steam release.
When this mod started out, I published it on Paradox Mods, then here, and then I was contacted for permission to upload it onto Game Pressure. Before the 1.1 update, I made a post on Reddit about the mod, for publicity. It was here where I met ElectroHelal, who was kind enough to upload the mod onto Steam (as I don't have a Steam version of Stellaris).
Already, the number of subscribers on Steam is higher than any other site with the mod, after just one day. Anyhow, thanks to the great people of Steam, I was made aware of several bugs and balance issues, which should now be fixed in the 1.1.1 patch.
There is also a list of the features of the mod in the discussions area of the modpage on Steam.
The next few updates will probably just be patches and bugfixes. Once I am happy with the fixes, development of the next major update will continue. The 1.2 update is planned to be a smaller update than the 1.1 update, but this is because the 1.3 update will be huge. Well, that's what's planned anyway.
But I can't finish a dev diary without anything about the following update! So, here's a small spoiler: the 1.2 update will focus on ascension perks, and maybe traditions too. Of course, several civics will be added.
