Our visual novel is posted live on Steam Greenlight!

Posted by on

In case you haven't seen it yet, Sunset's Ashes is now on Steam Greenlight at the link below:

Since it's our first VN, and a shorter one, we're going to be making it available for free. We're still excited to share this novel with everyone, and it's done great when tested by others. Hopefully more people will get to enjoy it soon as well.

Why Steam? Aside from the glamour of being on Steam, it's been great seeing so many VN's on Steam integrating Steam features. We want to do the same. So it means including Achievements, Trading Cards, and potentially Cloud Support. Much like we want people to really enjoy the story experience of the game, we also want it to give a Steam experience rather than a title which simply disappears from your Library after it's uninstalled.

As we've been tinkering with the Steamworks SDK, we're looking a couple other things we can add to the VN. We'll be posting about it here and on Facebook once more has been finalized!

Thanks for the info.
Always on the look out for new VNs.
The last VN i really enjoyed was called The House in Fata Morgana ,that was great though it had a few places were it dragged on a bit too much.

If it's a short -ish game ,just make it clear on the store page , to counteract the "easily offended".
They're everywhere these days ,sign of the times sadly :)

I'll have to check out The House of Fata Morgana; I've not yet played it. And thanks, I'm trying to make sure people know it's a shorter VN. Though it seems to have some thinking it's too short for Steam. Hopefully once it's on Itch people will get a better idea.
