Hi guys,

since I began to work on this Custom Story "Cadaver Party" for one month, I think it's a good idea to give you some details about what has been done yet, no?

1) MAPS

So about the current maps here we go:

Legend:

  • Beta ready = design and/or script ready to go, will need testing before final version.
  • Alpha ready = design and/or script mainly ready but subject to changes, additions or deletions.
  • Work in progress = do I need to explain?
  • In misc section, some comments about each map state.

The maplist is not definitive of course.

2) CUSTOM CONTENTS

About custom static objects, textures and so on, I've got nearly all the stuff I need. I also use resources from Amnesia that fit well with the atmosphere of "Cadaver Party".

3) LANGUAGES

About languages, I'm writing both English and French, plus there should also be Italian, German, Spanish and maybe Russian.

4) TOTAL CONVERSION?

By the way, I may transform this Custom Story into a Total Conversion because it could be easier to pack and release for me. I'll see when time will come anyway, for now let's talk about a simple Custom Story, technically speaking.

5) LOOKING FOR TALENTS!

I may need the help of a 3D modeller/animator concerning "enemy" entities. I found stuff that could fits my wishes but if you are interested, tell me so, because I have ideas and can show you concept arts I made. One "entity" would be great, two would be perfect! I'll post a job offer on modDB when I will have a beta ready - because I am aware that 3D modelling/animating means a lot of works and will understand that nobody will be interested until then. ;)

If you have created custom objects/entities (furnitures, items...), textures, etc. for Amnesia you can also show me them. I already got some thanks to creators on the Frictional Games forums and modDB.

Same apply for musics, as I work with custom ones. If you compose and like the dark ambient thing, it can interest me.

6) MORE BLABLA

If you have more questions, drop me a line! I think I'll give news one time per month until release.

There will be a private beta before that, I already got friends ready to put their hands on it but I may propose it here too for some players - not sure at the moment. But feedback and bug hunting is not a thing I want to ignore.
