We have resumed inviting players into the closed Early Access of SKARA, The Blade Remains.
We wanted to spend quite a bit of time making sure the new build was clean for users with somewhat lower computer specs. Now that we are more confident, it is time to really begin play testing the new Team Domination arena, the Ruins of Zem.

A territorial fight where two teams try to control three bases, Zem requires a group effort. Controlling bases earns the team points, as does slaying enemy team members. After a while the bases lock, activating Pinnacles in the centre of the arena. Once locked, teams must destroy the Pinnacles to regain the territory.
“We have been playing Zem a lot in the studio, and it is really competitive. You never know who is going to win, sometimes till the very end!
New players should be warned, however, that SKARA has yet to add dedicated servers, making lag a potential problem.
However, that is going to change soon. The next build in May is going to have dedicated servers and a lot more, including an improved versus fighting arena.
