Recently one of the main developers icydee confirmed his plans to reboot the game in order to fix persistent issues and to allow for additions of features what cannot be done without clearing the current empires. This means that everybody is going to start from scratch but current members might be able to migrate some of their success and prestige as well as purchased currency.
Current agenda of development:
- Updating API
- Migrating GUI from YUI to React
- Replacing sitter passwords by authorized empires as sitters
- Overhaul Essentia economy
- Tweak buildings, ships, spies
- New Expanse with different size and heterogeneous star distribution
- and much more!
An update will follow as soon as there is more information about the reboot and possibly a release date.
