Finally! After 6 months of hard work, the prototype is done! I can't wait to get some feedback on what me and my friend has been creating. The temporary art is not much to look at but the features are in place and we know exactly where the game is heading! :-)

Finally! After 6 months of hard work, the prototype is done!
I can't wait to get some feedback on what me and my friend has been creating. The temporary art is not much to look at but the features are in place and we know exactly where the game is heading! :-)

We're planning to talk about every feature in depth as soon as they get close to a finished state.
So here is what we've got so far :

So as you've probably guessed by now, this is not exactly the kind of game you let your 5 year old niece play... Or maybe you do, I'm not judging :P
We've put quite a bit of focus on the gore system and this is just the beginning. All the blood that gushes out of your enemies collides with the environment and leaves a permanent stain that reacts to gravity and trickles down as you would expect. For now the permanent blood in the environment is rather low resolution and I expect it to be at least twice as detailed in the finished version.

Cut someone in half and expect to see a bunch of internal organs. In the prototype, there are just a couple of predetermined ways of dismembering your opponents. For the final version I will implement dynamic dismemberment that matches your weapon's motion, think Metal Gear Solid Rising ;-)

If you have a sick mind like us and you're tired of cute and cuddly games where characters feel like they're made of cotton, then I hope you're smiling right now :-)




There's of course a lot more to the game than just blood. There's 4 powers, so far 30 artifacts and 4 characters. Build your fighter to fit your play style and battle in one of the four levels. You can play up to 4 players and together create a big bloody mess! We're constantly tweaking the game to make sure that it's requiring skill that players can constantly improve upon.
