This is a video showing early pre-alpha gameplay from just over 2 years ago. This was the point at which the 'hexball' was first functional. After which, adding the minesweeper game was fairly straightforward. The rotation seen in this video is not quite what the current version allows. The current means of rotating the ball is along cardinal axes. The video shows both cardinal rotation and rotation about a diagonal axis, which looks more like a proper globe rotation. Imagine an axis formed from a line between the cursor and center of the ball, around which the ball rotates. I may re-introduce the 'arbitrary axis' rotation method as it has the potential to look better. This video also shows off the old aesthetic, prior to the rim-shading, more abstract style and colors that I have since added.
