Hey guys,
Here is the third to last piece discussing the design evolution of the sins. So far we’ve discussed Wrath, Gluttony, Pride and Envy. This week we will cover Lust. If I had to compare her to a real life situation, she would be the popular girl in high school that all us gamers hated publicly but, internally, had the most savage desire to hook up with her.
We aren’t the type of team that let our game be influenced by external factors but we knew that if a change was not made, the entire Southern States would be knocking on our door with their Magnums in one hand and preaching from the Bible in the other. I guess the publicity would have been great, especially if Wolf Blitzer would of shown up at my house. We love you Wolf!
The Lust 2.0 is seen below:
Lust 2.0 was a happy medium of dominatrix and “I study on a Friday night”. We put a little more clothes on her legs and added the floral pattern on her shoulders and boots. We also shorten her hair by a significant amount to give her more of an evil edge. Finally, we switched the color of her hair to blond.

I know there will probably be some skeptics out there who are going to say that the first Lust was the way to go. I mean her flowing brown hair, long legs, silky skin… umm… you get the point. We’ve also been toying with the idea that she may be an unlock at some point in the game. So gentlemen, your fantasies will come true.

the red head is far superior to the blonde. More convincing facial features, physique and the style of the hair is interesting. You know, really not feeling the blonde one at all. Is she the "upgrade?" or have I got it mixed up?
Agreed, I'm not feeling the blond bowl-shaped hair. Red head looks a lot more "lustful", devilish, and that's the kind of look you want.
Thanks for the feedback. We really appreciate it. We're working to make each character really communicate their sin, so getting outside opinions is very helpful.

I agree with the "red head was better" statement.
Totally agreeable. I have to say, the Lust 2.0 is quite generic and uninspiring, while the older one was much more fitting.
here's the problem you can run into. The redhead, while I think she does look better, she is very cliched as I think everyone will want her to be redheaded, it's going to be tough to do without being cliche, unless they don't mind doing that, then I'd say red is better :)

I prefer the head/face and hair on the red one. Other than from the shoulders up, the 2.0 looks good... I just REALLY don't like the hair and face on the 2.0

another not primary tune would be good instead of the guitar. and the first lust girl was better, the second is more like a good girl
in my opinion the model of the first one was better, simply because she looks wilder, the new one looks a bit to well-behaved (i talk about the face, not the clothes or the whip)
the hair of the new one are to flat (i liked it on the concept because there they look a bit wilder)
the look of the body is good, but i was a bit disapointed when the clothes suddenly were red instead of purple (i know the color of lust is read, but I liked it on the concept)
overall the new one isn't bad but it's not what i would define as "lust"
the one that followed the original concept (blonde) could use some remake of the hair, it doesnt look fitting to the body and head, maybe less huge hair?
i like the second model indeed, just the hair which i do not like^^

In my opinion I like the redhead more.
I think this is my favorite character design so far, Alex. The redhead model really feels "lustful" and the music is pretty awesome. It's interesting to see the many different character changes your characters are going through. I can't wait to see the finished product.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but we lost the entire first model during a harddrive crash. (DanM just told me) *tear* On the bright side, we are fixing up the hair as we speak and will post the new version as soon as it's up!
Does that mean your taking the input of red ones hair on the blonde's body? I would really think that is a big improvement.
The redhead's face and hair just screams lust while the blonde's is more innocent appearing.

I think it's a good move, the model quality and sketches are excellent, but the blonde w/ hair-style gives me the feel of "Mom's night at the pole dance school"
She also could use a Tramp Stamp.
