a) The aesthetics were improved. A new tutorial, and transition was added. We integrated in voices from voice actors into the game. We also added a new mechanic called quick pass.
b) The motivation behind the aesthetic changes was to make the context of the game more coherent to the player. The players are no longer in a scaffolding box, they're now located on top of a building. The platform colors were also changed so that it didn't blend into the dark background. The new tutorial was added to teach team members to cooperate with each other. The quick pass mechanic was also added to encourage cooperation. We are hoping that players would work together more because it would allow the players to engage with each other in real life. It would make it easier for teammates to pass it to each other and hopefully incentivize them to work together more often. We added voices into the game as a juice element.
c) For our next iteration, we want to polish up sound effects and add in character animation. We are also talking about a wall jump mechanic. We have recently received news from a composer who wants to compose music for our game.
