Following our last preview of the Sten Mk.II SMG, we continue our weapon preview videos with the Thompson M1A1 sub machine gun.

Following last week's update "Sten Mk.II SMG", we present a short video preview of the M1A1 Thompson, which was modelled and textured by [TWDEV] brrr, animated by [TWDEV] chad509 , and with SFX by [TWCON] EAR.

All of our preview videos are heavily Work-In-Progress, all the content shown is very likely to change prior to release of the game.


We would also like to invite you to follow our updates from the EuroGamer Expo in London this weekend on our Twitter and Facebook pages. We're not showing showing our game off, but we will be promoting ourselves with some small Traction Wars cards. (And we'll be playing with some new games!) Tickets for the event are sold out, but if you are attending or are around the Earls Court area this Saturday and Sunday, come and say hello! (We'll be the ones in the bright blue 'Traction Wars' t-shirts!)

Am tracking this one for a very long time now, and each new update is more amazing as the last one.
That said, i would love to see some other footage now as weapons only. But, i know how much time goes in to development of projects like these so i fully understand why it takes so long to show actual game play footage.

If I may offer a suggestion on the sounds, the firing seems to cut off when you fire another bullet, instead of carrying on the sound. It's not as apparent in full auto, but when you massage the trigger and only fire a couple of shots, it's very apparent.
Other than that, great work!

There are many reasons why this reasons why the sound to this weapon is a little off at the moment *cough* Crytek *cough*, but it's all work-in-progress and will change lots and be improved the more we work on them. And thank you for the kind words; support definitely makes us more enthusiastic!
