I hope you all had a great Christmas! The game's alpha is coming along nicely so I'm thinking the alpha will available to download the end of January. But with the word "alpha" comes a storm of people thinking the game won't look and perform like a finished game. I'm working on making the alpha look like a polished game from graphics to coding. The alpha will contain a one map, two mode gameplay.
The map will be a simple cabin in the woods proposed by Shot846, called Secluded. Creepy area, large area to run around inside the cabin. Complete with a couple perks, pack-a-punch, mystery box, and the mystery slot machine. The slot machine is still a maybe for the alpha at this point because of complications with the array of weapons and attachments required.
Besides that, the game won't have online capabilities in alpha. But that is okay for now. A goal for the second alpha is the online part. After the alpha is released, I could use the help of you guys to find any errors with the map, zombies, weapons, systems, ect. I'll set up an email for bug reporting. Oh, almost forgot! The two modes in the alpha, will be Endless (also proposed by Shot846) and Survival. Obviously you all know what Survival is, but Endless is a timed survival instead of rounds. Last as long as you can. As time progresses, the zombies get harder and harder to kill; some zombies even start to get faster!
We will also be having a leaderboard for each mode on my websites forum and will be released with the alpha.
