In other news. I've decided to try and get some crowd funding for this game. I will be using the Indiegogo because I'm not an American. Otherwise it would have been KickStarter Hopefully within a month I will have my campaign up and running. With some funding I should be able to spend more time on developing this game, so I've got my fingers crossed.

Why ceres? that's the Roman goddess of agriculture, also you should make it so that when ship lose power they keep drifting in the direction and speed they were moving at, maybe make it so that exterior forces (gravity nebulae. stuff like that) can slow them down.

Well, Ceres is also a dwarf planet/asteroid. So it's a suitably spacey name.

I thought about doing that, using some real physics effects in the game. Unity3D game engine does offer that, but it was causing some programming and game play difficulties. I will maybe use real physics in the game.

Concerning the name, yes, Ceres is the Roman goddess of Agriculture and a dwarf asteroid within our solar system. I chose that name for both these reasons. Roman mythology will have its place in the game .

The Indiegogo campaign hasn't started yet. I'm still trying to make it presentable and looking good. If I get enough funding I will add Linux support and maybe even Mac. Unity3D game engine does offer that.
