Post news Report RSS Never ending story - Glorious Companions comes back after 5 years

Glorious Companions comes back reborn along with an announcement trailer and a Steam page. Over 8 years after the project page was created here on IndieDB, the game is finally coming close to a release.

First off lets start with the announcement:

Lead a party of fellow companions through tough times and become a renowned lord in the land of Navaroth. Watch your men suffer and celebrate, learn and grow. Guide them by example, fighting alongside on the battlefield.

The game is available for wishlisting (which we greatly appreciate) on Steam: LINK

When I logged in to my old account and found the Glorious Companions profile I was surprised to see ancient uploads from as far back as 2010, what a find! I might've even shed a tear browsing through the old articles and screenshots while updating the IndieDB game page to the current state of the game. The whole journey started in 2008/2009 and back then it looked something like this:

Glorious Companions 2009 version

And now we're back with the proper version as the game gets closer to the planned Early Access release.

Glorious Companions 2018

So what's Glorious Companions, you ask?

Glorious Companions is a turn based tactical RPG set in an original dark fantasy world of Navaroth where you craft your own journey as a leader of a mercenary company. Aspire to become a powerful lord, solve the mystery of the Ancient Guardians or just ride around the continent building your fortune on trade.

The world of Navaroth has been carefully built and maintained by us throughout the years. The whole premise began as a pen-and-paper RPG system which also stayed updated and revised as the years went by.

There's a longer description on the Steam's store page if you'd like to learn more details. If you're in for some laughs you can go through our old screenshots and articles to see what journey Glorious Companions went through. You could say that the project just refused to die, probably because we just want to play it so hard.

If you have any questions about the game simply ask away. Cheers!
