So, Claustrophobia is nearing an alpha build. By nearing, I mean playable. While it’s been playable for a while now, there hasn’t been enough content to justify the game, what with it being a roguelike and all. So with the addition of the final few systems for alpha build and the content required to support that, Claustrophobia will be released here in alpha funding. Then those brave and dedicated soles who wish to support me and try the game out very very early can do so. Which brings me on to how content will be released once the alpha comes out.
Updates will be as frequent as I can manage, and will include everything from major systems to small tweaks. This will mean that the game will change on a constant basis, but, wherever possible save files will continue through different builds. Your save files will run the map you generated before each update, so generation changes will not apply, but everything else will.
Finally, Leaderboards. Everyone loves high scores right? So points are now tallied up when you do just about anything ingame, and when that hero dies, their final score and character name displayed on a local leaderboard. Looking into doing a global leaderboard too, but as save files are currently not massively well encrypted, fake scores are fairly easy to produce.
Remember kids, the only person you’re cheating is yourself.

Is alpha build going to be free? How much will the game cost when it will be 100% finished?
The alpha build will be $4.99, the same as the final game. There will be a demo version after the alpha launches if you don't want to buy something incomplete. The payment will be to support the game's development.
Shut up and take my money!
