Whats this madness! ModDB Has a YouTube Page?
That's right! ModDB Does have a Youtube page. Sadly its hasn't seen new content in quite sometime. That's where I come in! Hello, My name is CaptainShack, I've been hosting the channel TheXpGamers on YouTube for quite awhile now. Our tag line has always been "Where we support the modding community". I've made it my mission to make ModDB's Youtube channel a great place to find the modding and Indie video content and a great avenue to help support our developers! Feel free to contact me over on YouTube or at ModdbVideos@Gmail.com
Don't forget to subscribe!
A ModDB Youtube channel? o.O absolutely great! :)
Indeed, robert has be awesome enough to take this responsibility onboard, keeping with the community run theme that is moddb, its always great to expand our media coverage for modders, developers and gamers alike! Great recap video!
Oh the good old Dota meanwhile i playing Dota 2 i just have no idea what im doing as everthing has chancged places ;_;
I think that there are some, let's say glaring omissions, in that video/list.
They should do a part 2 and part 3 and part 4 and part 5. :P
Nice show, but I really miss some masterpieces of moding aswell as good know ones from the old days, like Firearms (Half-Life), Sven Co-Op (Half-life), Infiltration (UT99) and well I could continue listing, but I think everyone with age and knowledge know it.
Besides of that, is good to see an small footage of modding history :).
what about brutal doom?
Stanley Parable but no Dear Esther, Minerva or Black Mesa Source? Okay.
How in the holy hell did you not have Infiltration (UT99) on this list. I'm like, ******* embarrassed for you.
This was a short recap from Modhof.com
HOF are moty winners, it never won but was featured back in 2003.
Moddb.com
YES!! a YOUTUBE channel! Oh boy. A presence on that site is something I've been wondering for awhile now whether it would happen, because its a good idea.
not sure if the youtube channel is a priority right now. im a bit more concerned about the news section, cause all i can see is noname indie titles, instead of mod news. the two sites have merged.
2: would be nice to have a some sort of release calendar somewhere, cause most of the mod devs doesnt really know the possibilites of the site, some of them doesnt even know how can they get to the main page.
im not saying the youtube channel is a wrong thing, im glad that its active again.
Moddb is just going from strength to strength each year. Good job, and well done to all the mod developers this year.
Sturm.
