Meet the Lead Composer (Kamil Orman Janowski)
Introducing the fourth article of this series, we are going to present you the lead composer of Mindworld in an interview.

What is your position in the team?
As a lead composer, I write a lot of the ingame music and direct the other composers.

Tell us about your previous work?
In 2007, I started by writing uplifting trance music under the name "Ron Malakai". In the same year I signed my first contract with the famous British label "Baroque Records".

From then until 2010, I released more than 30 original tracks and remixes. They were released under many labels in the UK, Finland and the USA. Many other artists and DJs supported me by playing my work (Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond etc.). My tracks also appeared on many compilations. At this moment the "Ron Malakai" project is in hiatus.

I'm listening "A new beginning" now :)

I'm not good at expressing what I think about music, so I'll just say: Amazing.

Ah, I could tell he was a Hans Zimmer fan. Good taste, he's my favorite film music artist. I can say quite proudly though that Kamil is one of my favorites now as well.

That's true, but I definitely can see some inspiration from Two Steps from Hell, too :)

Excellent work! I can kinda get a feel of how the game might be like. I specifically liked "Tempus", it really makes me think of a dream world like scene.

Dude your work is unbelievable! Great job with the songs, and as you said: "A great OST is a must for every great game." Be sure that Mindworld is in great hands when talking about music.

Actually the music is one of the main reasons why I track this.
Every single piece of sound you put into your articles is a joy for my ears to hear.
The interview is really one of the best interviews I've ever read, not only due to the structure, like implementing example soundtracks in between the questions, but also due to the answers who are, wow, well I'll say it this way, it let's you see right into the mind of a genius...
