A Los Angeles-based interactive game development studio is set to reveal their company launch title at the GaymerX video game convention on December 11th – 13th in San Jose, CA. Naughty Shinobi, a recently formed indie studio, will have the first publicly playable demo of their original launch title, Shadow Over Isolation, available exclusively for GaymerX attendees.
Gaymer X, the first-ever LGBTQ-focused gaming convention of its kind, is entering into it’s third year and has become regarded as one of the fastest growing and most popular gaming expos on the West Coast. Held at the San Jose Marriott and San Jose Convention Center in downtown San Jose, the showroom floor has expanded to over 50,000sq. ft and will feature a unique combination of gaming booths, panels, discussion forums and celebrity guests.
“GaymerX stands apart from other gaming expos with its diverse cultural fan base and strong indie studio support,” says Stuart Newsom, founder and lead designer at Naughty Shinobi. “I cannot think of a better place to unveil our first independent studio title.”
Shadow Over Isolation, an first-person adventure thriller, just recently entered into its private Alpha testing stage and has been recognized for creative visual achievement accomplished using the Unreal Engine development software. Naughty Shinobi is funded entirely through backers of crowd funding portal Patreon, where they are given direct access and communication channels with the developers.
