Moscow (Russia), October 1st 2020: META Publishing is eager to announce its partnership with indie developer Digitality Studios. Starting today, the publisher and the Portuguese developer will join forces to bring HordeCore, Digitality Studios’ upcoming side-scrolling shooter, to PC and consoles.

HordeCore will be available later in Q1 2021. If you can’t wait that long, a demo for the PC version of the game is already available through Steam. Head over to the HordeCore Steam Page and start exploring the zombie-infested wastelands today!

Moreover, HordeCore Prologue is already available on Steam and offers an online COOP using the Remote Play option. Check it out there!

What is HordCore? HordCore is a kick-ass post-apocalyptic action side-scroller. While zombies roam the streets and society is but a distant memory, a ragtag band of survivors do their best to avoid an early grave. Lead your team, build a sturdy base, scavenge through the ruins of civilization, manage your resources, and craft deadly contraptions to fend off the horde!

Key Gameplay Features:

  • A dangerous world to explore: HordeCore is set in a vast, randomly generated environment. Coincidentally, traffic before the apocalypse was a bit of a nightmare at rush hour!
  • A tinkerer’s dream: Anything can be a weapon if you’re inventive enough! Just collect a few ingredients, visit a crafting table, and turn them into something pointy!
  • A unique cast of characters: What? You thought you’d be the last human on Earth? The lone wolf trope is a pretty unrealistic one when you think of it!
  • Ever-lasting friendship: okay, not really. But you can tackle the challenges in HordCore, alongside up to three other people, through both online and split screen co-op. You’ll have to source your own friends locally, though. We don’t ship those anymore!
