Dive to any spot

The most obvious new feature of "Hohmann Transfer" is the ability to choose where in the rings you begin your dive. You can choose any spot along the rim for free (assuming you want to burn a bit of extra propellant to get there), or pick a spot deep within the rings, and the station will use it's xaser array to burn a safe approach path for you (for a fee).

Improved autopilots

Second major improvements of the release are the rewrite of Mitsudaya and Nakamura Dynamics autopilot, which improve dramatically their ability to predict how a ship will rotate in response to burns. You'll find that the control with these autopilots is much more precise, especially with gimbaled thrusters. You can also tune the new behaviour with a new rotation-over-translation priority tuning option.

Playing on the couch

I spent much time testing the game with the gamepad to pick up and fix all the little glitches that piled up. While you might not notice some annoyances when playing with the mouse, a few days playing on couch-and-tv setup allowed me to pinpoint and fix a lot of little quirks that, while didn't break the gamepad support, made playing the game less enjoyable. This version comes with a lot of small fixes to address that. I also used this opportunity to test different resolutions - from 4k to 720p - and made sure the game looks good in all of them.
