Franc (FRANC) will be based on Tron (TRX) blockchain due the high price of gas by Ethereum.

In January 2021 the authors of Kryptofranc (KYF) a blockchain based on Bitcoin Core published a press release announcing a new derivative project named Franc (FRANC).
Franc (FRANC) is a new altcoin smart contract that was to be programmed on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain with Solidity 8.0.
However since that date, many problems with Ethereum and the high price of the fees (gas) – topping sometime at more than 200 USD per transaction – make it unappealing for Franc on move on this technology.
After some research, Nicolas Choukroun the programmer of Kryptofranc and Franc decided to use Tron blockchain to host the Franc project.
“We cannot do staking or use Franc as a currency for the project W.O.K if the transaction fees are too high. Tron has low transaction fees (what they call “energy”), and by doing a TRC10 type of contract, these fees are even divided by 1000, which makes every transaction almost free” said Nicolas Choukroun.
At this point of time, Tron (TRX) delivers the perfect solution.
Therefore Franc will be a TRC10 type of smart contract.
“Over the next 2 years, we will be developing an exciting project named W.O.K based on Kryptofranc and Franc and during this time, our Kryptofranc investors will be able to accumulate Franc for free by staking more than 5 Millions of KYF to get 15% APR delivered in Franc. We will also ensure a direct donation system where you can send 1 TRX and get 10 Franc as a step ahead and participation to the project without staking” added Jean Martial Lefranc, curator of the Kryptofranc foundation.
For 2 years, ending in early 2023, Franc and Kryptofranc will function together in order to offer to the Kryptofranc’s investors a way of staking KYF to get a 15% APR rewards in Franc.
Until then, the only way to get Franc will be to stack Kryptofranc or to participate with a one TRX sent to get 10 Franc delivered. Anyone who is holding 5 Million Kryptofranc or more on a Kryptofranc wallet’s address will receive 1,172 % of their holding in the form of Franc tokens every month.
Franc will be tradable in a major exchange just as Kryptofranc, and both will empower a project codenamed W.O.K.
