Post news Report RSS First Trailer for Dungeon Deities!

We've created and uploaded our first trailer. We're looking for testers - let us know if you want to try the game!

After quite some trouble with video editing and getting nice footage, we've finally managed to create a neat little trailer, embedded below.

We are looking for alpha testers!

Are you interested in trying the game? The game is ready to be played, and while not all features are included yet, there's already quite a few possible dungeons to create! If you wish to participate - great! Simply post in our forum in the "Testing"-section:

It's really quite cool to see the whole game come together, too. Many things couldn't be implemented without other stuff being there first, so it's only now that we really see how our idea turns out. Good thing that it's really fun, then! :)

Now, some screenshots!

Orb stolen

This message is somewhat rare: It only happens when someone stole your orb while you were playing, too. But hey, it's pretty cool when it happens. Not only did they steal your orb, they left you without one of your special abilities.

Golden Chest

The golden chest is the goal of each dungeon. In there, you'll find the treasures of whoever built that dungeon. Usually, this means a new orb for you, and thus, a new special ability! What might it be?
In the unlikely case that the dungeon creator doesn't own any orbs, there's a chance that a new orb may spawn. If not, you'll get money, at least! You can also see (ugly) torches with flames. We though adding decorative items would allow you to personalize your dungeon a bit more.

Combat

Combat! Not only are there two blob-enemies attacking with jumps, there's also a nasty wizard who throws fireballs at you. Damage by fire is usually bigger than damage by other sources (such as swords or punches), so be careful! ... Of course, if only you had the right orb, those fireballs may actually not be dangerous at all...

Simple Room Example

And one last screenshot: Here, we see the new ghost enemies. They cannot be killed, and move towards you all the time - they're pretty annoying! But they're also harmless, since they stop before they reach you. Just be careful around them and don't run into them.

Holy crap, is that what I think it is? Because it looks like a version of Dungeon Keeper that can be played online. If so, I'm all over that!

Way-cool! I'm not sure if I'm more looking forward to the Zelda-esque dungeon-crawling or making my own dungeons to punish other players!
