Post news Report RSS First Sneak Peek at Gameplay!

Our gameplay sneak peek is finally out and we are about to hit a good patch of production time.

Posted by on

It’s here!

A lot of you have been waiting and we are finally ready to lift the veil on some gameplay footage.
Give it a peek. We can’t wait to hear what you think!

INFRA is in alpha and many of the polish has yet to be rubbed in but feel free to give us your most scalding critique. We can take it. Applause is acceptable as well...

In other news, development is rolling along smoothly. With a team as diverse ours, we tend to hit our most productive strides separately from others. Fortunately, many of us are going into some time off of school within the next month. That is when you may notice a shift as far as content coming out.

As always, your eagerness to see more has kept our spirits high and energy plentiful. We are a few highly sought after ranks from breaking into the top 30 on Greenlight so keep those votes coming and feel free to help us spread INFRA in any way you can!

The concrete wall textures need variation. I felt like I was looking at a magic eye picture after a while. The ambient noise music at the start was overbearing. Other then that. YAY! FPS puzzles! Pretty funny idea for a game.

Gameplay and atmosphere reminds me Penumbra Requiem.

Anyway, nice work! Keep it up.

Pretty cool! I have a question though. Why do you take pictures of cracks and rubble?

Very impressive. I think my civil engineer friends will appreciate this a lot :D

I'm voting this up in Greenlight.

Looks cool! The 'pushing buttons' animations feels a bit off, but of course I do understand that this is a mod and that it is very difficult to make such animations 'life-like'. I'm looking forward to playing this :)

Those animations were made only for this video and testing purposes. Full body awareness with more advanced interaction system will replace those.

Although I've been thinking.

Why does he hold his hand up when looking at a button? IRL, you don't need to prepare your hand to press a button. Why not just make him raise his hand, push the button, and lower it all in one animation?

The holding animation is there to tell the player that a button can be pressed. It's also there to help the player to press the right button, as it doubles as a crosshair.
