Here is the latest long-overdue update of Ex Vitro. My goal this year is to finish this version of the game, so I can finally migrate to a better engine (*cough* Unity *cough*). While I've learned a lot using Game Maker, I think it's severely limiting the things I want to do. So, I've decided to cut short some of the bigger plans I had, and save them for the next generation of Ex Vitro. Essentially, the next update will include the next phase of the final boss, a conclusion to the story, and new character art.

Included in this version:
- Final Zone (note, this area is heavily scripted so I would love to hear any feedback on bugs or glitches!)
- First phase of the final boss (more complex scripting than the other bosses, and quite a different type of battle as well. Reminiscent of a certain boss from a certain Nintendo series, but hopefully unique enough to stand out)
- Final jump upgrade (again, reminiscent of a certain item from a certain series)
- Rewrote some data logs to better fit what the conclusion will lead to
