Chaosoft Games has entered an early build of the upcoming Action/RPG EvilQuest 2 into Microsoft’s Dream.Build.Play 2012 competition. Following on the heels of the successful release of EvilQuest earlier this year, EvilQuest 2 is currently in the early phases of production. The entry into Dream.Build.Play consists of a demo version showing off a host of new and improved features and hints briefly at the early stages of the game’s story. After listening to both fans and critics of the first game, Chaosoft Games is heavily focused on adding more of the elements that made the first game a success, while making large strides in the areas of music, art, dialogue and gameplay.

Features:

- Fast-paced Action/RPG combat.
- Unique, genre-defying story.
- Perform multi-kill combos to boost your abilities in battle.
- Unlock the power of The Chaos Shards and craft powerful weapons.
- Unleash powerful special attacks to smash your foes.
- Dozens of unique spells.
- Intense and challenging boss battles.

I hope it improves upon the few flaws and gripes I had with the first one. Marketing it as being close to Crystalis got me hook line and sinker as that, Landstalker, and Alundra are probably among 3 of my most time cherished games. Any dev that can recreate that experience for me has my praises. Evilquest came close, but fell short in some regards and overall was a bit too easy.
Evilquest 2 I'll definitely be following and more than likely purchasing on release.

Oh this makes me quite happy! I enjoyed Evil Quest quite a bit, and im glad to see the franchise moving forward! I loved the satire, and the fact that unlike other games where you play a "Bad Guy" who innadvertantly does good things and has a soft spot or something, you really were a complete son of a bitch!! That was so refreshing, and I loved the end sequence and the subtle commentary that enveloped. Bravo gents, and best of luck!

My only complain with first game was man character. Seem soul reason for destory is epic tempertrama or not ruling it. My big thing nobody is ever evil just alot different shades of grey, give hint reason for action like hate authroy such nothing more. I am not asking for soap oprea but main character that more depth then one note villian.
