We 2 of TheShortAndtheTall are proud to show you, here on the amazing IndieDB, EFFING DEAD , our first indie game.
EFFING DEAD is a survival game like the Resident Evil 4, completely in 3D, with real-time lights and shadows, glows and water physics.
But why RE4?
We loved RE4 and think it's one of the best survival ever and we miss it too. EFFING DEAD start with the same mechanics but has our special touch + some differences.
We want to make an Eff Good game that share with RE4 the same feelings and joy while we played with it.
Check the video of the BETA - it's a BETA so things will maybe change and you have the opportunity to make it better with your comments, so please write some! ;)
Another thing: during the development we will releasing game stuff FOR FREE(under CC license). Please read more on our page.

While still far from fully polished, this -does- look far better than the initial trailer. Hopefully things continue to improve. Also, the melee system seems to be taking some notes from RE6 -- was that intentional or not?

Yes, things are improving every day, really.
About the melee: no, we haven't played RE6 yet - we start from RE4 ideas and change things as we like. Maybe we had the same ideas from RE6(which would be cool, I think)? Not sure.. when (and if) you will try the demo we will find out ;)
