Welcome to Devlog #4! I am ditching the post layout because plain is cool. ALSO, in the last update post, I changed the look of the player slightly! His hand and head look much better now and both follow the mouse.
Okay, now for the updates! I worked on two small things:
- tiles drop an item upon being set to 0 / breaking
- tiles get destroyed after a certain amount of time instead of instantly
As I said, small things, but it's beginning to feel really nice to play! The next big updates would be tackling tile generation/world generation and detecting if a tile can be destroyed by the player. Those are going to be difficult, but I am super excited to figure it out!
