Devlog #34 – Arranging character designs news

Introduction

Guess who’s back? Happy New Year for everyone around the globe!

We back on track and ready to give our all to make this game the best we can!

By some feedback we got about our game, the characters were not properly modelled according to the original concept art and so we are arranging the character models as we trying to continue the development of level 5.

Adjusting and Redesigning characters

As we are developing the levels further, we took a closer look to the characters after receiving some feedback that the 3D modelling of these weren’t totally accurate to the original concept art and that our fox character, Ana, had a very plain and outdated clothing design.

So, with this, we went ahead and tried to do a few design changes to our beloved Ana character and assigned a more modern yet simplistic clothing design.

We tried giving it a skirt, but then we thought she would look older than she actually is, in the end giving her some comfy jeans.

As for the rest of characters, we’ll give them some fixes in the following days.

Progress in level 5 environment

Without a doubt that level 5 has an enormous scale comparing to the others. Its environment is being a great challenge but it’s taking shape and it’s looking nicely! Was a hard week, mostly modelling mountains, more mountains and other assets to give more space to the player exploration options and have fun to its heart content.
