Hello again, we are the Roma Inmortuus development team, and today we are going to put you up to speed on some of our work. This week, we focused on the player modelling and development of some mechanics.

This week our artist, worked on the 3D model for our character and I the game designer have been trying to develop and explain some mechanics. See it for yourself down below!

This is our early 3D model of the main character, made in Maya.

Mechanics

Today I would like to tell you about our player mechanics. In the game the main character will: run, jump, attack, summon the AI companions and interact with some elements of the level.

For the AI´s mechanics, as in the Trident and the Shield companions.

The Trident is the AI companion focused on assisting the player with his offense, the idea is to use it when you want to clear a large number of enemies.

The Shield is the AI companion focused on assisting the player with his defence, the idea is to use it when you want to hold an important position or block enemy movement.
