Greetings!
Final version (1v70) of the game is here with some exciting updates. Male characters have been added in addition to female ones. Samples can be viewed in the image tab. Mountain level has been added as well.
Conclusions on the development of the first game.
The result was such a mixture – roguelike, sandbox and text-graphical RPG. The main goal of the game was just to pump your character in the guild, buy the coolest home and earn a lot of money.
The game was not written to get lost in going through all the twists and turns of the story or to learn all aspects of the sandbox, but to relax after work or during the lunch break. Beautiful drawings and photos were designed to help relax, and the simplicity of the game doesn’t get on your nerves or distract from the problems and worries.
I wrote it for those who understand widows forms + drawing. The graphics engine I wrote myself, which I regret; in hindsight I should’ve used already existing one rather than reinvent the wheel.
The game turned out to be fun and interesting.
This ends the development in widows forms + Drawing for me, moving on to a more convenient Unity3d.
