This is a crucial update for our entire game, and we’re extremely excited about it! We’re ashamed to admit that we’ve been quite silent these past few weeks and would like to apologize about that. We’re working on changing that. We’ve got a lot done and that doesn’t exclude level design. Soon you can say goodbye to that little test island you all love, as more exciting stuff is on the way, most notably, Pine Valley, a diverse and expansive level with exciting features for our players! We’ve also been nailing down things again on the game and a lot of awesome things have been done! Blen (our coder) has started to write down daily development blog updates so if you have time to check them out, check up on our new website and forums: www.thefinalstandgame.com/forums. Blen has also nailed down proper chest and airdrop spawning, loot fixes, armor, fixed weather, arrows doing damage, torches, death and applying all the new animations we’ve got done.
It’s been an extremely productive few weeks for us. We’re working on releasing a good quality game as soon as we can, and we’re excited about it and definitely going to pour in all of our effort in to make sure nobody waits long! We’re hosting a play test this Saturday on our forums, as a celebration of our progress and all the new things that have happened with the game. Come join and give it a run!
