Post news Report RSS Demo save bug

Oniken save worked perfectly as a stand alone program, however, with Desura integration, the Demo release has presented some problems saving. We believe we will be able to fix this issue today.

Oniken was made with Multimedia Fusion and, as default in this engine, the save file is placed on the game main directory. When downloading OnikenĀ“s demo from our website, you will have no problems with your score, that will be automatically saved there.

However, when downloading your demo from Desura, Oniken directory is placed on your Program Files, a directory that requires administrator powers to create or change any file there. In this way, some of you may not have this power while playing Oniken and, as consequence, your score is not being saved.

We are working on a solution for this issue and, as soon as possible, we will offer a new version of the Demo. For now, you can also download Oniken Demo from our blog.
